The project began with exploring teas and their seasonal associations. Research into colour psychology and cultural motifs helped pair flavours with moods: lemon iced tea for summer, cherry blossom tea for spring, pumpkin spice for fall, and rooibos for winter.

 

Sketching explored how each beverage could interact with seasonal elements. A kawaii art and halftone shading were chosen to create consistency. Visual motifs such as tea cups, blossoms, lemons, pumpkins, and candy canes tied each illustration to its season.

 

The compositions were refined to maintain balance and focus on the tea cup as the hero element. Testing different halftone scales helped enhance depth while keeping a clean, cheerful style.
